Remembrance exhibition Sadaharu Horio 1939 - 2018 Rest in Peace

Artworks by Sadaharu Horio

Today at 2 Dogs Art Space Akashi a small remembrance exhibition has been set up in respect to the passing of the Japanese Artist Sadaharu Horio who resided in Kobe, Hyogo Prefecture which is the sister state to Western Australia.

The Western Australians who came into contact with Horio either personally or  through his artworks appreciated the connection, there is no doubt much was gleaned from such interactions by the artists from the northern and southern hemispheres of this planet.

In the above photographs is a collection of quotidian artworks by Horio that have been acquired from galleries in Kansai or at times he has generously gave them to me, for which I am grateful, they're  good memories.

Please enjoy this memory of Sadaharu Horio artworks now on show
